Ynys Llanddwyn (Llanddwyn Island) & Beach
Also known as Newborough Beach - 2 miles from the cafe. Here, tide permitting, you can walk across to the spiritual & unique Llanddwyn Island. In the other direction you can walk to Aber Menai Point
Newborough Warren & Forest
Beautiful walks with the chance to spot wiwer goch - red squirrels !
Anglesey is home to approximately 700 red squirrels - about 200 of them live in Newborough Forest. Anglesey and Newborough in particular have been key in the UK conservation efforts.
Pen Cob & Malltraeth Estuary
Just a mile or so from Newborough, walk along the 'Cob' to enjoy the wildlife & views of the estuary. Famous for wading birds.
